Karlheinz,

count me in, though I am not from the construction industry.
Have some experience in agile and critical chain, but mostly I believe BIM will change construction and also other industries.

A digital twin of what a project is creating is so valuable for planning, controlling, what-if analysis and much more.

I believe Construction will also grow tremendously, even after corona, as we need to re-locate cities and protect shores due to raising waters and have to accommodate the rising number of humans e.g. in Africa. Those need homes and infrastructure.
Also the detoriating infrastructures in developed countries need renewal, some are 100+ years old.

Hi Thomas,

Thank you such much for considering my research. Would appreciate any valuable experience, knowledge and opinions you would have regardless of your industry. I am just putting some final touches on the Qualtrics survey and will send you a link. Maybe we can touch base after

Happy to connect, Karlheinz. My email is [email protected]

Regarding critical chain and agile I agree they come with different mindsets. The paradigm shift in my view is not towards them but to understand them and other concepts and be able to apply them depending on the situation. PMI calls this project economy and using whatever works.

CCPM is based on Goldratt's ToC, and as such, has a lot in common with a lean flow approach to agile. Steve Tendon's TameFlow is just one example of how the two are brought together to improve value delivery for almost any type of work.
