Password to copy PMBok portion for individual use

Hi all,

Do you know which password shall I fill in the popup window when I try to copy portions of my soft PMBOK copy ?

It does not work when I fill the same password I use to unlock content.
According to what I found on PMI website, I should not need any permission because it is only for my personal need.
"Any personal use for PMI materials that is not shared or distributed to anyone else does not require written permission from PMI for use. "

Thank you.
Have a good day.

PMI locks down all of their standards to prevent copying & printing. As such, you will not be able to unlock them.

Still haven't got over the silly gray pages they use in the printed version.

I second Kiron's feedback. You used to be able to do so but not anymore.

Dear Quentin.

You can not use the copy/paste function on the PMBOK due to restrictions that PMI place on preventing copyright theft.

Even if you try to export the material into another viewer application this still wont do any good.

Tried several "passwords" such as my PMI number, user name, etc. and had to Google the answer. Fortunately, this link gave me the hint that it uses the same website password which I then managed to unlock for reading.

Why was this self-explanatory when I couldn't find any reference for it when I first downloaded it?

And the unfortunate thing is that if you regularly change your password, you will need to note down the one which was in use when the PDF was generated...

That works unless it's a previous edition or a standard or practice guide which PMI no longer supports...
