I am currently an MBA student with 34.5 months of prior work experience as a Project Manager. My two months of paid internship as a Program Manager will make my total work experience cross the eligibility criteria of PMP i.e 36 months. My only concern is that is paid internship counted towards 'professional work experience' as specified by PMI or will it be a problem?
Another query that I have is that since I am a student, I am looking to get the PMI membership through the subsidized student rate. After I become a student member, will I remain eligible to write PMP exam? My concern is rising from the fact that there could be an inherent design in the student member's logins that could have limited access and prevent me from applying for PMP.
