looking at process 10.2 (manage communication) ,we will see 10.2.3.1 (project communication is one of the main output for this process) .
This process belongs to the (Executing process Group).
As my knowledge any performance reports should belong to monitoring & control process group.
I am sure there is a sally mistake in this regards.
Any contribution thoughts will be highly appreciated.

Is not a mistake. One thing is to collect information and the other is to create the reports to publish.

Agree with Sergio
it is important to understand the sequence
1. work performance data (output execution)
2. work performance information (output monitoring & control, comparing the data=actuals with the plan and judging if a variation is enough reason to act)
3. work performance report (output from execution, as reports are created from information to suit specific stakeholder needs)
