My organization uses CA Clarity integrated with Open Workbench as the preferred tool for Project Management.
My default earned value calculation method is set to '% Complete' but I can change it to one of six available calculation methods.
I have found that '% Complete' (auto-calculated) is 100% if the task is complete and 0% if the task has started but not complete. Consequently the auto calculated BCWP value is never right.
I have found another field '% Expended' which is accurately calculated as Actual Complete / Total Usage (total usage = Estimate to Complete + Actual Usage). However I cannot pick '% Expended' field in order to calculate BCWP.
