Microsoft Project 2007 Master Plan different than Sub-Plans

We're currently using EPM 2007. It has been a recent migration. We have many individual plans that display 100% if you open them independently. When I open the master plan it shows some old tasks set at 99% or less in the % complete and % work complete columns. I have verified that the master plan is pulling the most accurate/"current" copy of the individual plans. There are 100+ subplans. Do you know what else I could look for to resolve this? It does seem most common on local assigned resources (vs enterprise resoures). Are there any known bugs or issues?
