How the earned points are awarded at the schedule assessment worksheet for the optional components?

I had found through the Practice Standard for Scheduling - 3rd Edition that the earned point for the Optional Components Score (Page 161-164) been awarded differently to what was stated at page 141 "Once the required components are accounted for, all of the remaining components are represented by the optional components, ..., the assessor awards the points as indicated".
Can you please explain how the earned points are awarded at the schedule assessment worksheet for the optional components? Saving Changes...
