I wrote the PMP Pilot Exam on 19th of March and understood that status of exam would be released in May 2020.
I will like to know my status - I am feeling some suspense! Saving Changes...
Last update was sent the last working day of May only to state that “we are encountering issues due to COVID and will have a release the mid-part of June”. The only part I struggle with is the communication. I can understand the dynamics as we are all facing them, but more frequent updates outlining the issues and following the PMI principles of stakeholder management would sure be appreciated. Yup. Also, a specific deadline by which we should receive the results would be great. It is mid-June but not sure when we get the results Saving Changes...
Finally got my notification - I PASSED!! Oh, it feels like I can breathe again!

Congratulations Diane!
I did not pass the Pilot exam though. I think I didn't really prepare enough as I would normally do. I feel confident that I will pass in my next sitting. This time I will projectize my PMP Exam.
Diane, I will appreciate you share some ideas how to the pass.

"This time I will projectize my PMP Exam."
That's exactly what I did. I determined how many weeks I had for study and broke that time down for areas of study. 10 days for one area, 10 days for another, etc. I made sure I understood the PMP definitions for everything and relied heavily on PMP exam simulators (again, focusing each week on questions in individual areas).
I gave myself extra time in the end to take test questions on all areas combined and made sure I took tests that were 200 questions to make sure I could do it within the 4 hour time frame.
I found it essential to see as many questions as I could because they are lengthy in text and require critical thinking to drill down to the actual question. This was so I knew what to skim over and what critical key words were important in the question. I always asked myself "what are they really asking here and how would the PMBOK want me to answer it?"
Even though I got to the point where I could answer 200 questions in 2 hours in simulators, it still took me the entire 4 hours to take the actual test. I was really glad I had practiced so much.

Hi Diane and Alok, seeing the PMP badge on your profiles, I'm guessing you passed the pilot examinations. Congratulations! Best of luck to those who haven't - I'm sure you will soon. :)
