Convenience and safety would be the most compelling advantages whereas some increased restrictions (e.g. fixed breaks vs. unlimited breaks), potential for major technical glitches and (very low) increased potential for cheating would be disadvantages.

I had minor glitches with my online exam, taking additional pictures. I had a major glitch with a test center exam: the building power went down. I certainly would not assign a higher risk of glitches with online exams.

I think advantages are more here. You can take exam on saturday sundays, you save time, you are less prone to infection outside, you are more relaxed, and more importantly you can take mock test in the environment and PC your will be giving exam on.
Disadvantages depends on your preparedness. Your integrity and technical skills play a role here. Saving Changes...

I believe there are many advantages, particularly now that all testing centers have been closed almost all over the world. First of all, for me this was the only way I could get certified now without having to face an indefinite postponement of the exam. I think flexibility in scheduling your exam is much higher than with testing centers. On the other hand, you are required to have a stable internet connection, and a proper environment set up for the exam, so it is your responsibility to guarantee that. I was concerned about possible noise coming from the street or from my neighbors - as I had no control over it - but I was lucky I got a quiet day.
I liked the scheduled 10-min break, which now adds up to the 4 hours you have to complete the exam.
I find the built-in whiteboard less effective than drawing on paper, but I understand the motivation behind it, so I tried to prepare for that by using Paint during my mock exams. That helped me gaining confidence with such a tool.
Overall I think that this is a great opportunity, also for when we will go back to normal, for those living very far from the closest testing center. Saving Changes...

If any issues you will not get additional time in exam. I found few tech issues when started with online exam , so be prepare your mind for positive and also negative situation and do not panic. Overall good option to take exam at your own comfort. Saving Changes...
Online exams can reduce the tension when presenting the test, but the safety and legality of the process must be considered.

Pros is the fact that you have full control over your time and schedule. I remember, a friend told me he could not get a schedule to take the exams for the next 2 months as Parsons. Now its a tic-for-tat.
The Cons as earlier mention are hitches with your system (I advice you always clear your cache and cookies), check the strength of your wifi (If weak, you can get a wifi extender).
But the most worrisome hitch is an intruder knocking at the door or shouting outside. Saving Changes...
