Nice question!I'd like to share some of my experience work at home.Well, because of the COVID-19,I have to work at home for three months, work efficiency is greatly improved, but it also brings troubles.
1.You can focus on your work and think deeply, because there are fewer unnecessary meetings and interference.
2.If you don't set a clear work schedule to remind yourself, your working time will be much longer than in company.
3.Virtual communication is more difficult than face-to-face, so you have to look for some communication and collaboration tools that can improve efficiency, and also get well prepared before communication.
4.Last one is to communicate and negotiate with your family, make sure they support you working from home,it is very important.

Hope it helps.
