I am up to take the PMP exam mid-August and curious to know if anyone else is taking the exam around that time and would like to be in a study group.

Best of luck with your exam, Lauren! I passed my PMP last month, and actually found Youtube tutorials rather helpful with the understanding of core concepts.
Thereafter, it was down to getting used to the format of the exam questions (many tricky questions with tricky questions and correct-sounding answers). This is where your work experience counts, I suppose.
tl/dr: focus on concepts, get used to the exam format and if your instincts from prior experience would help you go a long way! Saving Changes...
