Is it possible to create a hammock task that depends on two or more activites (both unrelated to each other) for its start date and two or more activites (both unrelated to each other) for its end date in MSP?

Yes. I often have a task that depends on completion of more than work stream work and then drives more than 1 work stream following on. (Is that what you mean?)

Based on what I know about them, given that hammock tasks are created by copying & pasting dates as opposed to using predecessor links, I don't think you can specify more than one task as driving the start or end of a hammock task. However, you could have links between the two activities driving the start or the two activities driving the finish tasks.
