Here's the thing: I had other priorities, and trying now to catch up. The exam is in 2 weeks. Has anyone studied for only 2 weeks? and passed :) ?? Oh yes, and working from home full time and kinda... shared babysitting until 9 pm :) Saving Changes...
Soha; IMHO. Use PMBOK +Rita. Study these books well. Purchase Prepcast simulator and practice those 1600 Questions and see your score should be somewhere around 70-75%. So all the very best
P.S. I am a mentor and train PMP aspirants. We use the same technique as said above Saving Changes...

Can a simulator be a book of X questions similar to those in the exam? I'm seeing some on Amazon (practice tests etc, )
Thank you
Soha
The book won't give you the real feel and setting of the exam, but the simulator does. I still recommend you go with PM PrepCast !

Hi again, thanks for your quick reply! So, for PM PrepCast do you have a specific link? I mean are there different prepCast ? I'm afraid to buy something not good.
not sure if we can share something like that here. Saving Changes...
1. you can postpone the exam if you are not confident
2. you can take a chance to look and experience for PMP exam no matter you pass or fail, if you are having a same relative experience you will grasp easily but for it you need to give 4-5 hrs focused time (2-3 hrs study + 2 hrs practice test) maybe this can help you. Saving Changes...

It's not ideal, but a lot depends on your grasp of the concepts. I managed to study for and pass the PMP exam in May with AT for all domains in just over a week, but then I had also taken the CAPM before so that really helped lay the foundation along with the work experience.
The practice exam suggestion is a good one - you'll get a sense of where you stand, then decide from there. Good luck! Saving Changes...

It really depends on your background. While experience matters a lot to make the correct judgments on some questions, you definitely have to know the PMI approved terms / methods.
I consider the PMP the hardest certification exam I ever took.

Hi Terese,
I just rescheduled it again. at the time of the post I wasn’t confident as I purchased the simulator late and didnt get above 75%.
The thing is (for me) you need continuous study time otherwise you have to restart again .. with covid and different parallel stuff, really complicated.
But we’ll do it ! Follow your gut and if you score above 80 on all domains.
Good luck!

Thanks! If you don't mind my asking, what % were you at when first taking the simulator vs a month later?
