I will try to answer according my knowledge.
I have a team of 4 people in IT/IS and we used to do this rotation plan and we found it very important during COVID-19 pandemic.
JD or daily task from day to day for all employees ,Application systems, manage engine service desk SW if available ( systems tickets).
Rotation plan should be planned well with training.
However skills will be most challenge from IT staff to another one.
