I worked in this field from 1989 mainly when at this time we tried to merge AI, VR, OO and Agile. But perhaps this article could help to you, just do not write about me:

You are welcome. I studied to much the case because is a practical demonstration about an organization with a hierarchical can be agile too because agile is a matter of architecture but it does not matter that it can not be adopted by evolution instead of revolution. The key reference that you can consult on the matter is "The Art of War" written by Tzun Su. It will help you to implement Agile practices inside teams.

While Guerilla warfare is known since 512 BC Persian war Agile methodology has got founded in 2001. History has seen many guerilla wars in recent past eg. vietnam , chechenya ,al Quida ,attack on world trade centre etc.The customer satisfaction is the main driver is agile while it is induced in case of GW for political ideology.THe GW has small group of 5 to 6 warriors, 9 to 11 is Squad and 100 is company , with all round expertise while agile working team is of 5 to 7 members with specific roles. fight with wide variety of weapons while agile uses different systematic processes like scrum, XP, DSDM,Crystal etc
GW acts very swiftly n speedily ,normally hit and run operation with small but very quick attacks having high potential of damage while Agile does iterations with estimated story points with simultaneous testing and with fairly defined output. While GW calls for on spot decision making and have authorities of execution while Agile has to consult PO.Scrum Master or Coach works as facilitator though actually not involved in development , in GW only one leader does all the job and is also considered responsible.
The GW attacks happen in succession though not continuously without any indications but Agile keeps delivering early and continuously.-frequent delivery. In GW attacks the every attack is fairly planned and is executed in accordance , needs tremendous presence of mind and coordination ,communication is fantastic and almost perfect and mostly non verbal . In agile all the above characteristics are needed but degree of perfection remains much less as compared to GW. While success of Agile is measued in terms of working software . In GW the volume of damage is a key performance measure. While in Agile there is a continuous collaboaration with customers there is very secret and confidential collaboaration with disillusioned or unhappy people from the enemy's territory. While Agile developers go to Caves-Rooms for relaxing and thinking or silent working , GW squads really go and relax in unknown caves not traceable by enemy.
Any other iputs are welcome

Further to my post i find the Guerilla war is more complex and takes lot of overall strategic thinking in the strategic planning plus with every attack also has tobe backed by strategy --while breaking the labyarinth and while escaping the the same. If need bethe operation is left as a successful retreat . In Agile planning ,in comparison with GW lesse4 degree of stategic planning goes into both at the product backlog creation level and backlog groomimg level . So also the changes are not generally allowed during on going iteration. In GW on spot changes and decisions are made as needed.Overall GW is much more complex and faces many more uncertainties than Agile projects in comparison.
Experts views are welcome as learning opportunity of different facets of the issue
