PMP or PRINCE2?

Hi everybody,

I am working for a Indian telecom sector as a Manager and I have also worked on overseas projects, so here I would like to know that which certificate is better for me at the moment as I want to do both but I want to know about at the moment, so such certificate can help me for Project management, operations and team management for India as well overseas.

Both are reputable certifications so I'd suggest looking at the job postings for roles in the industries and geographic locations you are targeting on LinkedIn, Indeed or other job sites and see which is referenced more.

You have to check the market. What I can say is PRINCE2 is practically unknown in Latin America and some places of USA.

Another aspect is that Prince2 is easier to obtain, it takes a week while you could spend 3 months preparing for the PMP.
