Hello PM community. I need some advice on the topic question.

Background: I have already done PMP certification, and am doing project management at a senior level in consulting industry.

Question:
Do you think doing MS Project Management will help in any way? I am already a Master in Business administration. I was rather thinking of exploring the MPHIL path towards PhD. In my country I cannot find any uni offering elective for MPHIL in project management, so maybe HR will do. Will appreciate if I can get some feedback which might help me take a decision. Thanks.

Agree, a second MS does add a less distinctive perceptional value than a PhD.

Have you considered a DBA? There are some in Europe that can be taken without being onsite (albeit not having the same market value as DBAs with onsite parts). DBA thesis' are more practice oriented and since you have experience this might be a suitable point.

As a PgMP myself, I would say go for it, it has great value for insights and self-confidence but less for reputation (more a intrinsic motivation).

Keep on learning! And start teaching, giving back - another way of learning. Stay safe.
