A PM who is not open to change is unlikely to be a very successful PM as our job is ALL about making change. However, the appetite for higher magnitudes and frequencies of changes does vary individual to individual. Some PMs are extremely resilient whereas others can be very set in their ways.
This is why when I used to hire PMs I always looked for those with significant breadth of experience from a domain, industry and company perspective.

The way I see is that this resilience is a skills that mature with the time and experience not matter which backgroud is..however, it may be that PM ( specially those with certificate) are awared more than other professional since PM framework make you understand that it is part of the day to day ((in some occations) of PM Saving Changes...
I think resilience is a skill every person develops in great or less amount according to their life experiences and personality. Resilience can be learned too, acquiring knowledge of techniques such as NLP, that help us to manage our emotions. Resilience doesn't depend of a PM role but is an important characteristic that may help a PM to afront difficult situations in his daily functions. Saving Changes...
