Good morning

I want to ask about the type of experience I need to apply PMP test

because I have a bachelor of engineering and total experience -nonoverlapping- for 24 months in the Project Priorities department.

Assuming you have a four year undergraduate degree, you'd need a minimum of 36 non-overlapping months of project leadership experience plus 35 contact hours of project management training.

You can get all the details from the PMP handbook here: https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/...27-fa3fb4482d4b

excuse me Mr Kiron
I asked about which type of experience I need to apply the exam
is my experience in Prioritieses departments as an engineer is related to Eligibility Requirements?

am a mechanical assistance engineer. I worked on the priorities for all projects (standards of priorities) in my company and I don't work as project engineer or project manager

You would have to have led projects so only experience in prioritizing project requests wouldn't be eligible for the PMP.

thanks, Mr koran I got it

but I have three questions if you don't mind

1-what about the experience as one of the project team?
2- if I led a project for 24 months and after I finished I lead another one
is it overlapping?
3- what does PMI mean with this :
Leading and directing the project as identified with the tasks, knowledge, and skills specific in the Project Management Professional Examination Content Outline.

am sorry to ask you many questions because there are many people released false information on the web and for this reason, I prefer to ask the source

1 - No, unless you directly were involved in project leadership activities (e.g. developing the schedule, budget and so on for a workstream within the project)
2 - No - overlapping means you were doing two projects at the same time
3 - You need to download a copy of the PMP ECO from here (https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/...2-efe6c46e2636) and ensure that the activities you did on those projects cover the contents of the ECO

thank you, I appreciate it and I think I don't have a chance because my company doesn't work professionally related to your requirements. I don't work on initiating and planning phases. you can say my work stars from Executing to closing

thanks
