What does everyone think about this new series and the cost? I was looking forward to the Agility and Business Analysis Conferences this fall but now I see that it will cost me $99 to attend each one.

I've been unemployed for 6 years and can't find a job. I'm disappointed that I can't afford these events and won't be able to attend anymore.

Will the PMXPO 2021 cost money as well? Will these Series be on demand here?

These look like great events. I hate to miss out.

Rami, they are a part of the virtual experience series that continues through December. On 9 September the focus is on Organizational Agility, and on 12 November the focus is on business analysis.

Holly, Got it, thanks.

I thought it’s a separate conference that Ed is referring to as every year we have a virtual Organizational Agility conference in September and another for Business Analysis in October which were free for everyone so my question is:

Are those events on September 09 and October 20 the same as past years events but this time admission is for $99 instead of free ?

Appreciate more clarity on this. Thanks.

Hi Ed! The Organizational Agility & Business Analysis events are still free for PMI members, so you WILL be able to attend! When you register for those events, the discount will be applied during check-out.

The on-demand for VES, I believe, is through 31 January 2021 on the event platform. Where it will reside after that time is still being discussed.

As far as the PMXPO goes, it's a bit too soon to say, the events team will start planning for the event in the next several months. Stay tuned!

That's great news!
I can register for the Agile conference now and it'll still be free? Same with the Business Analysis?

I guess we'll know more about PMXPO in the coming months.

Heather

Thanks for your clarification. I was under the impression they are both paid as this is what the PMI website implies that it’s $99 for members but now after I logged in, I was able to register in both conferences for free.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Hi Ed - Yes! The events team has updated the registration pages to reflect $0 with PMI membership for those 2 events, so you should be good to go as long as your membership is valid through November!
