Some people use PowerPoint slides with red, yellow, green to track productivity. Others might rely more on data and live dashboards that are dynamic, to determine the entire health of a project, revenue, cost, volume, to diagnose issues and see other performance metrics. Certainly metrics in a remote environment are critical for performance and managing your teams and individuals.

How do you get everyone aligned with the direction of your project, across different countries and different time zones? Would be interesting to hear how you track productivity and measure success with remote teams?

Not sure why the remoteness should change the objective or how to achieve the objective.

In general, if we measure based on outcomes rather than outputs and ensure we have a holistic set of measures in place which won't incent the wrong behaviors then it should work regardless of where folks are working.

Similar to where Kiron is coming from. Is the fact that teams are working remote change the measure of success? And when we say productivity, how are we defining what that is? This can be a cultural shift for teams and individuals to look at outcomes as a measure of productivity, getting value delivered to the customer, eliciting, and incorporating feedback.

From an alignment perspective; transparency, availability, accessibility, inclusivity. This could include a SharePoint site, MS Teams space, information radiator, etc. Empower teams with information. Teach them the intent of the metrics and how to read and use them. Simply making them available does not always provide what we think it does.

Platforms like Jira or Trello allow tracking the activities of the Project. Power BI is a good option to see global results. There's a solution that combines Trello and Power BI, here is the web page: https://admin657694.wixsite.com/website This solution is in Spanish. We would write to them to ask this tool in English language too.
