Hello Girish,

Thank you for your post. You can navigate to the "Templates" drop down at the top of the homepage to review the various forms contained within the community. You may also perform a search using the magnifying glass next to your profile picture entering keywords "BCP template". I hope this helps and good luck in your search!

Best,

Thanks, VerĂ³nica. This one is helpful but I am looking for more proven /tested/practiced BC Plan or template as such! If I don't find any response from anyone I would start using smartsheet's BCP template. Thank you again. Appreciated.

Girish

Girish,

what I saw is that a BCP is at the end of a longer process to identify and assess your risk as an organization, identify the key break points and make them robust and resilient, but also prepare actions in case the points break.

So, you need to do that process and a BCP will be one of its results, but not sufficient for survival. A template will not help your specific situation.

You might look at consultants for help, e.g. IBM, at Internal Audit, at OCEG. And no, it is not only IT.

ADVERTISEMENTS

"Impartial observers from other planets would consider ours an utterly bizarre enclave if it were populated by birds, defined as flying animals, that nevertheless rarely or never actually flew. They would also be perplexed if they encountered in our seas, lakes, rivers and ponds, creatures defined as swimmers that never did any swimming. But they would be even more surprised to encounter a species defined as a thinking animal if, in fact, the creature very rarely indulged in actual thinking."
