I am trying to submit the payment for my PMP certification exam. The cost for PMI members is $405.00.
However when I checkout I discover that an additional shipping fee was applied. I live in Italy, so in my case it is $113.70 on top of the initial price.
Does anyone know what is the reason of this shipping fee?
Is there any physical product or goods that needs to be shipped overseas?
That is surprising - as far as I know for the exam you should only be charged the exam fee plus any applicable local taxes. I'd suggest contact PMI customer care for this...

I already emailed the Customer Care, and am hoping to hear from them soon.
It's weird, even if I try to purchase the PMP online exam simulator, which is a digital product and costs $0.00, the shipping fee is still being applied...
I do hope it is just a glitch in the system, and that it would be solved soon.
That is a strange value. Previously, any payment for PMP certification exam included shipping fees. Maybe some changes were made because of the COVID-19 pandemic, to manage deliveries of PMP certifications, but Customer Care should review these cases where any shipping is needed. Saving Changes...
