I was recently promoted to PM for a division of our parent company, and am now overseeing projects for different organizations, and projects between the organizations.

I am somewhat experienced (2+ years of self study) and I have a CAPM, PMP eligible in May... but I dont think I'm qualified for this.

Any advice on communication strategies, software for tracking and collaboration, etc.

You have some great advice, Kelsey. Number one, be confident. Be confident in what you know and what you don't know. Use these experiences to grow. Mistakes are okay, and part of the growth journey. No mistakes equals no growth. Just take them in stride and learn from them.

Also, take this opportunity to inject some innovation and creativity. Make a mark from Kelsey's point of view. Be your own person and your own project manager. We set ourselves up for failure if we try to be or mirror someone else.

Be communicative, inclusive, and transparent. Be passionate, caring, and compassionate. Be a learner and a leader. Be respectful, courageous, and a good listener.

You'll do great!

Good luck, Kelsey.

I strongly support what has been said about getting a mentor and get knowledgeable about collaboration tools.

If you want to look for a tool helping to monitor and improve team collaboration, perflo is an example.
