Replying to PINAKI BANERJEE
...
Hi Abhishek, you mentioned that you have read PMBOK twice, which makes me believe you have a good foundation. If you are still not able to score high, then it seems like you are missing on application of the concepts. Below are few suggestions that I have:
- Try to refer some additional publication outside of PMBOK. There are few that have put the concepts in a way that enable application. PMI-PMP by Andrew Ramdayal is one of them
- Be clear on the PMI-Grid (you may want to put the grid in few places that you visit frequently during the day...say study table, mobile etc...so that you look it up frequently). At any given time you should be able to reproduce it in 5 mins. maxx.
- Get some App that allows you to answer questions whenever you have time. Even if you do not answer all correct, the explanations are good learning. There are quite a few that are available for free. The one I used was PMP Prep.
- Mock tests are fine, but my suggestion would be that you subscribe to module based test packages that help you prepare by module first before you take the exam prep test. Ones offered by Varun are really useful. You may refer the link....www.eduhubspot.com
If you need any additional help, please feel free to reach out to me.
Good luck!!
