Hello everyone,

I find the Quality management knowledge area to be the most elusive and vague topic in the PMBoK and the most difficult to explain to project management students . I am looking for a textbook (or anything close to it) that approaches the topic with a hands-on approach rather than a theoretical one. It would be nice to find some real life scenarios about how PMPs implement Quality management processes and use the tools on their projects.

Regards,

Thank you Sergio, that's a long list of books but keyword in your email is "theory".
I agree. But is what you need to know to teach quality in project management and is what you need to know to work with quality in the practice. In my case I work on quality, mainly in system, IT and software domain, from long time ago so I have read them and I have learn the use of them in the practice along the years. Things are different is you like to teach a PMP credential preparation exam.
