Reporting PDUs for meetups and bootcamps

Hi,

Can someone guide how to report PDUs for a bootcamp or training attended which doesn't show up on PMIs pre-approved list of providers and courses? I see only certain providers and course ids listed on the PMI site to report PDUs....does that mean you can only report PDUs if you take those specific courses only?

Also, if possible to report, which category to select? I assume the hours of a project management specific training would go under Technical hours...??

Thanks,
Mohit

If the provider hasn't given you a claim code or a breakdown of PDUs by Talent Triangle "leg" then you'd have to estimate this yourself and submit it by manually completing all the required info on the CCRS submission page.

Pre-approved PDUs are those which come as a result of taking a course through a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP). Effectively, those have been pre-approved by PMI so even though you might still have to claim them via the continuing certification requirements website, there is no risk that PMI will reject them.

You can only claim PDUs for courses taken after you have attained a credential. So long as that credential was earned before the May 2019 course, then yes, you could claim the associated PDUs.
