When candidates would go to a testing site they would be given a pencil and paper before entering the testing center. Before starting their test they could do a brain dump on the paper to help them should they freeze during the test. Is that still an option with the new 24/7 online testing? Saving Changes...

I believe for online testing there is a whiteboard on your screen which can be used for a brain dump. Saving Changes...
Yes - there is a whiteboard app within the overall test application. Take a look at the posts in the Certification Central discussion group related to the new online exam and you'll see a number of references to it.
