Hi Ahmed,
Finding a topic for your master's degree is very crucial and should be sourced from areas that you are passionate about.

Some ideas on finding a topic:
What topic within project management are you passionate about?
What area of project management is currently "hot"/controversial?
Who do you want to serve?
What do you have a burning desire to share?
What is a burning problem in the field of project management?

Hi Ahmed, congrats.
On Google, search latest research papers that discuss PMO. In the last section of each research paper, the authors will state what they considers interesting/valuable/original.
The section is called either: "Further Research" or "Recommendations for research" or "Future Research".

However, as far as I know, Master Thesis is not dependent on creating an original research study. Master Thesis is describing a candidate understanding of the current state of the field - it must be inclusive of all trends, ideas, and methods. It's writing and then defending what is already known.
Doctorate study is about researching new ideas, trends, and methods. It is about creating new. More or less, I hope my prof will not read it :)

Hi Ahmed,
Take a look at the work of people like Monique Aubry (Université du Québec à Montréal), Ralf Müller (BI Business School, Oslo) or Dr Robert Joslin, who have all done research in the PMO space. Maybe you could find some inspiration there?
Personally, I am always interested in the evolution of the PMO. With the rise of the EPMO, many PMOs are now delivering services to the business that fall outside of a traditional project management remit. Then there is the concept of an APMO (see SAFe) which focuses on value streams rather than projects. This change could be interesting to explore: How are PMOs evolving beyond project management?
