In what regard? With studying, I registered last January and have spent months, and months (and months) studying for it. Then, I took my first attempt in August but failed having only received the required target or above target scores in all but 3 of the knowledge areas, and in that exam I found the questions to be short and uninformative to make proper answer assumptions. However, in my 2nd attempt, yesterday, I achieved at target or above target scores in all knowledge areas, with the exception of 2 of the knowledge areas (but had high enough to needs improvement to keep my percentage on track). And, this attempts questions were more geared towards equations, fill in the table, and long multiple sentence question questions to be able to guage an appropriate answer.
Plus, this time I took more time to read each question multiple times, slow my breathing so that I wasn't rushing, and though I slept horribly the night before and had been up very early in the morning and was extremely tired, I did my best to keep my focus on the questions and not the clock.
I used about 6 different study guides, flashcards, and various reference manuals/test apps to practice with. By the time the exam rolled around, I was fairly burnt out and sure that my brain couldn't possibly hold any more information.
If you are considering this exam, and the only reason I went for CAPM and not PMP is that I simply don't have the contact hours, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor. Hope this helps with your question.

I studied independently using many different study guides (you can find them on Amazon), LinkedIn Learning, and the PMBOK 6th edition.
When studying, try not to get lost in the memorization of the ITTOs as this is not the point of either the CAPM or the PMP. Questions asking about the ITTOs will be asked in a scenario-based manner to get you to think about how they will be used, and how you as the project manager, will use them in that scenario. So you will need to understand the relationships of the ITTOs more than simply memorizing them.
