How much emotional intelligence do you rely on to accomplish projects. By emotional intelligence I mean self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy, and social skills. Would you say you rely heavily on emotional intelligence, or do you rely less on it? Or does it vary by project, and by whom you are working with on a project? How do you prioritize how much emotional intelligence to use during a project. Do you use an emotional intelligence framework which you can share with us?

Would be great to hear your experiences on this item.

Hi Marcus,

Brilliant Question, My best opinion would be , as Project Managers, we need to have great levels of emotional intelligence , irrespective of the projects or the span that we handle. Because , we are the leaders who can influence others professionally. So, it doesn't vary by project. I can share with you a framework that i prepared and use it regularly.

Thank you,
John
Wow thanks John , the response is insightful
