Rakesh, having worked both sides of the fence (on support side in the past and the development side now) we've always approach warranty items as those that impact the system in such a way that could cause disruption to service for the users.
This means it could span from things as small as the tool-tip is displaying the incorrect information (causing the user to possibly take an incorrect action) to sending incorrect information to the financial system. Obviously, the warranty time period is going to vary greatly between those types of items but that's a whole other conversation. Saving Changes...
