Pandemic, confinement (again) and tiredness
- What effect does it have on the teams?
- What is the consequence in the projects?

For teams which are resilient, the prolonged nature of the pandemic shouldn't affect their members too much as they can lean on one another for support. In turn, their projects are unlikely to be affected.

For teams which aren't so resilient, prolonged stress might increase the odds of team member burnout or attrition which would negatively impact their projects.

At a macro-level, economic downturns (e.g. if the W/K recovery dips back down) could result in further "belt tightening" by companies resulting in job cuts and/or project cancellations - both will have direct impact on both the affected teams and projects.

Dear Kiron
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion
We have very similar opinions regarding teams, resilience and their impact on projects
In Europe, we are experiencing a second cycle related to the epidemic outbreak.
Concerning the consequences from the perspective of the economy

Teams must be adaptative to different work environments and so technology tools and interfaces should be refined according to remote or on-site work. Coming again to confinement means retake remote guidelines to develop tasks in a perfect manner, and also continue to reconfigure some practices to attain more perfection.

Dear Veronica

It is valid from a theoretical perspective.
Do you take into account that the teams are made up of people and that a new confinement can affect them from a psychological point of view?
To what extent can this situation affect projects?
