PMBOK 7th Edition

Hi Team, I saw that there is a change in syllabus from Jan 2021 and see the PMBOK 7th edition is going to come. As a PMI member, would I receive a free copy of the 7th edition? Thanks.

Greetings Satyanarayana. PMI membership benefits do not include print copies of the PMBOK, but I believe it does get you 50% discount! Electronic copies are available free. To get the discounted print copy or free digital copy download, check PMI.org.

There is no finalized date for publication beyond "early 2021" as per https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/...30-oct-2020.pdf

This was confirmed by Marvin Nelson to me at the end of October - he is the Product Owner for this standards project.

Thanks Kiron...I just want to know, if I am taking PMP exam at the end of Jan or mid of Feb 2021, would I need 7th edition?

No - the new exam is based on multiple references, but the PMBOK Guide referenced is still the Sixth Edition.

Thanks very much Kiron. Just one more final question, as we see lot of references and courses outside. Can you please help me with what are the best references that I can go through alongwith PMBOK 6th edition?
