PMBOK 7th Edition

Hi Team, I saw that there is a change in syllabus from Jan 2021 and see the PMBOK 7th edition is going to come. As a PMI member, would I receive a free copy of the 7th edition? Thanks.

Has the 7th edition come out yet. If so can we download it?

No Stella, it is expected to be released sometime in 2021, but PMI has not committed to a specific launch date. Don't go by the Amazon availability date as that does not reflect PMI's position on its publication.

As Kiron noted, we are planning for a 2021 release but are unable to provide a final date. As soon as we have a final date for the publication of the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition, we will announce this through all of our normal communication channels. Until then, we will continue to provide updates and links to helpful resources and informational sessions through our dedicated web page: www.pmi.org/standards-projects. When the seventh edition does publish, it will be available to members for download.
