To successfully earn the CAPM ceritication, it is critical to thouroughly understand the PMBOK.
A good online course can also be invaluable in your preparation. Check out some highly-rated courses on Udemy, and do make sure you take at least three mock exams to find your weak areas to fix the gaps.

I've been watching the recorded webinars to build my hours and should be getting the PMBOK in the mail next week to study. If you review the CAPM requirements online, it shows the percent of questions per chapter, along with other helpful information.
