I am watching the on demand webinars to build my PDU hours for the CAPM. There are 3 videos so far that are appearing under the 'self reported PDU's', but I'd like to have the certificate for watching them. I've been printing them as I complete the videos. Will having these show up as self reporting be an issue down the line, or are they fine as they are.

Hmmm... I'm not so sure about that, Rami. I was pleasantly surprised when I applied for my PMI-ACP. It showed me as having the 21 education contact hours. I chalked it up to pm.com webinars I had previously taken. Perhaps Heather can confirm?
(The PMI-ACP Handbook indicates that self-directed doesn't count and gives the example of watching instructional videos. Does that mean live webinars are OK but not on-demand?)
Well, lucky you Stephane, but if you were audited, things wouldn't have gone as smooth I suspect.
I am almost certain that you need to take a course or formal training to qualify as contact hours unless things recently changed.

I took my PMI-ACP exam in February 2020. I knew my PMP would be sufficient for the experience requirement. I may be remembering my contact hours incorrectly: I did have a lot of Skillsoft agile courses I could use. I can't seem to find my application data like I used to. I contacted customer care to see if I can shed some more light in the question of webinars, as well as confirmation of my own contact hours.

Hi Masoud - The webinar you viewed is not self-reported and will be reported to CCRS on your behalf. You can find the certificate of completion in your account. Go to your name in the upper right, click "Account", scroll down to "PDUs Awarded" and click to expand. To view the certificate, click the certifications at the far right.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to [email protected]

Hi Heather,
Thank you for your reply.
This pertains to a 'Self-reported webinar.' The information below is a direct copy and paste from the PDUs received upon completing the webinar:
‘’’'The PDUs listed below will need to be self-reported to PMI. Instructions for reporting PDUs to PMI: Navigating Tomorrow: New Insights on the AI-Driven'’’’’
However, the instructions regarding the 'Self-Reported' process are not entirely clear. It is unclear what actions need to be taken and to whom the report should be submitted. Could you please provide clarification on the reporting process?
Thank you,

Masoud, this means you have to go to your dashboard on your PMI profile, and claim your PDU manually under Education. If you go to your Dashboard, Certifications, Claim PDUs, then under Education you can find Webinars, then fill in the info, and the numbers of PDUs, then submit. Its pretty straight forward!
However, in your case, and after checking yoru profile here, I can see that you do not have any PMI credentials yet, so you can't claim any PDUs because those can be claimed towards renewal of an existing PMI credentials only.
