I am looking into project management software options for my company. What project management software programs would you recommend?

We have previously used Asana and Basecamp, but would love to look into any other recommendations.

Hi Olivia,
There is a huge array of options here with lots of differences (function and feature) between products. I'd suggest that before you much more that you establish what business issue you are trying to achieve and what key functions you would expect from the software. Then match that to the level of organizational capability that you assess. Without doing those you could well end up with a mis-match solution that costs money, frustrates people, and provides little business benefit. Hope that tis assists.

Coming back to your question, since you have already used Asana and Basecamp I can guess that you are looking for a simple, intuitive tool with some additional features.

So featurewise, I would suggest you try out ClickUp, Airtable, Notion.

Click Up offers more functionalities in their basic plan. e.g. Kanban view, Gantt view, Classic view, etc. Notion and Airtable have a very wide range of templates for industries other than Software/IT (including IT/Software). One more option is to try out Monday.com.

If you are following Agile practices for e.g. Scrum then I would suggest you go for a combination of Jira and Confluence.

If you are looking for complete application management where you need to track everything from requirements + test cases + deployments + communication & collaboration then the following tools can be of great help - Xebrio, Inflectra Team and Jama Software.
