that is correct, there is a strong likelihood that some of the folks migrated from the CDAP over to the DASSM will lack the agile leadership experience which the latter requires (for new applicants). They would have been required to have either two years of agile experience OR have their PMI-ACPs but neither requires one to be in a leadership position.
The challenge is that the DASM is a zero experience certification, so it wouldn't have been fair to migrate CDAPs to that so given the two choices, PMI chose to uplift them.
Maybe those of us who become DASSMs can put where we came from in parentheses to differentiate ourselves :-) (e.g. DASSM (DALSM))
