Web Based "Project" Management Software with iPhone capability

So our legal division is looking for a lightweight "project" management software that is web based that has an iphone app. I say "project" in quotes in that they are really looking for a task manager, as their "projects" are 10 tasks total.

They're not thrilled with our archaic version of Sharepoint as an option, and just trading spreadsheets isn't feasible either.

iPhone is somewhat of a nice to have, but the Chief Counsel has an iPhone and wants it, so I'd like to see if that was out there.

Has anyone had experience and recommendations with any tools?

Any thoughts are appreciated.
