During the month of December, ProjectManagement.com will focus on the topic of: PM Philanthropy.
I believe that one of the most important ways that I as an individual can make a difference to the world is through the small changes and improvements that I can make in my immediate community and surroundings. I do volunteer locally, I donate my time and expertise in Project Management to local charities and initiatives and I want to be able to give back.
Are you currently giving back? or do you have the opportunity in your local neighbourhood? What are some great ways for you to become a PM philanthropist in your community? How did you get involved?
I'd love for others to share how they got involved and what they do to inspire others in the community and give them some great ideas for giving back. Saving Changes...
Well, it was tough to perform social service this year due to the pandemic spreading, social distancing norms, local administration restrictions etc..
However, earlier we’ve not only supported the Blood Donation Camp at our nearest hospital, but inspired others by visiting with our whole team setting an ideal example.
Other major actions giving back to the community would be planting more trees, creating more awareness about cleanliness at homes & all public places.
