Hello All!

I recently took an mba project management course that counts towards my contact hours. The only issue is that it was only for a total of 32 hours leaving me with 3 contact hours left.

Anyone have any creative ideas for a low cost way of obtaining those three extra hours??

A masters level course should qualify. They're usually about 36 hours (12 weeks x 3 credit hours), and a whole lot more work outside of class. When I submitted my application, they didn't check the semester calendar or my classroom attendance records.

I am wondering if the coursework outside of the class counts? Unfortunately, I am in 8 week courses for 32 “hours” a term supposedly.

Why not just take a 1/2-1 day course in a PM-related soft skills topic which interests you such as conflict resolution, negotiation or effective communications?

That way you'll get your contact hours and learn some new skills.

I agree with Kiron. Some good options available on Udemy.
