To me it's none of the above, before deciding which of the tools listed in your message, the PM needs to look into the reasons why those delays are happening, first getting feedback from the Project Team on their opinion of what the causes for the issues are and maybe listen to their suggestions about possible solutions. Then review the contract terms and once the PM has a clear understanding of what is going on and why from your side's standpoint;talk to the supplier representative, present your concerns and the facts you have at hand, listen to their opinion for the delays and possible remedial measures and how the Project Team can help in the effort. Have an open discussion and make sure to reach an agreement on what needs to be done, when, how and who will do and who will be responsible for each action to be performed. A written agreement on the solutions will be the cherry on top of the icing of the cake. Saving Changes...
