The key to be successful is to understand that Agile is a matter to enterprise architecture, not to use a method, not to use a mindset, not a lot of things that some people said outside there. Some types of discretionary projects have been cut back due to COVID while others have been born as a direct result. New products are developed to cope with living under restrictions. New business models are developed. Companies must figure out how to operate at lower staffing levels which can involve significant changes to facilities.
Even the term "new normal" implies a transition. That transition involves many projects. Most businesses have to continually adapt and improve to survive under normal market conditions.
