Business System Analyst is a term which is incorrect because the exact name for the role is System Analyst. System is not software system. The word Business was added trying to fix that system is incorrect used from long time ago as a "synonim" of software, then is to pointed out that it is "over" software and is focused on business taking into account that a company can have more than one business defined into it. So, a System Analyst, is focused on business functions or just into one a business function (usually) only. In other words, System Analyst focus is "one silo" inside the company. Business Analyst was created as an evolution of System Analyst (between others) and their focus is solution where the solution can include more than one business function. Because of that enterprise architecture is a must on business analyst work. Is a mistake outside there (and I could write about the reason) that focus are requirements only. That´s incorrect. There is no single standard definition for this as it varies between companies. In general, a BA would focus on the requirements management process for the "what" and "why" side of the equation whereas a BSA would get into the detailed requirements of the "how".
When both roles exist, the work from a BA would flow to the BSA to elaborate further.
