PMI will be offering a free online "bridging" course between January 22 and April 18 for candidates who prepared for the old exam but weren't able to take it before year end.

So happy to see that this is being offered! I've registered for the bridging course and look forward to learning how I can use the old exam material for the new exam. I hope the time and effort I spent on the old exam material does not go to waste.

Dear Kiron
Thank you for sharing this information
For students it is an excellent idea
Is it a good idea for ATP's?

Good question - this might be about PMI being a competitor more than a partner...

Dear Kiron.
About a year ago I asked if PMI's strategy in relation to chapters and distribution channels in the world was maintained.
With the development (and / or acceleration) of communication technologies (with particular reference to platforms such as teams, zoom, G Suite) it is possible to ensure online training for the whole world without needing the traditional distribution channels (REP's today ATP's )

PMI really should have started running the bridging course in late 2020 for those who could not schedule the exam before 12/31 due to lack of online slot availability.
I find it somewhat ironic that the new format exam is available from 2 Jan yet the bridging course does not start until mid month.

I agree. You are in a worst spot than me. Mine is Feb 9 so I will have some time to go through it but I'm not sure what the bridging entails, how long does it take to go through ect.

It does seem like an error, anyone taking exam from Jan 2-22 ish appears to have a disadvantage.

I also have to opportunity to push my exam till March, which I am considering but at the same time I want to get it over with.
