Is there a list of Certified PMP candidates based on Industry?
I am curious how many are from the Construction Industry.

I'm pretty sure that PMI has this info but I don't believe it is shared. I checked the Salary Survey and while that does provide compensation info by industry and separate by certification status, it does not provide data about how many certified folks were from a specific industry.

Thank you for the reply. The PMBOK processes seem to be too structured for the Construction Industry. Most of the contracts are FFP and lot of time this leads to changes, delays, etc. The more one waits to approve a change it adds to delays and costs.
It would be good to know if these processes were successfully applied on a Construction project. Thus it leads me to wonder how many in this industry have a PMP certification.

Pankaj -

Have you read the Construction extension to the PMBOK Guide as that might answer some of your questions?

My virtual peer, Rami, would be able to provide deeper insights into the applicability of the framework within the construction engineering domain.

Hi Pankaj,
I'm joining Kiron to say that PMI for sure has this info but has no platform where this categorization is given...

I am also the same thinking with Kiron. And I would like to share that applying those processes does not means the project will be succeeded, it only enhances the change to succeed. Just sharing my observation throughout my career ( I am working in this field) and my company tailor PMBOK to create the frame work/ guideline for project management.
