Hi all,
I am considering taking the exam very soon (PMP). Meaning, if I do not pass the exam, I have to pay again?
Thank you.

My recommendation is sending an email to PMI´s customer care with all your questions.

Yes Carme, if you don't pass you'll have to pay an exam resit fee. So study well and make sure you make it. Precisions can be gotten from PMI customer care as suggested by Sergio

I contacted customer service via chat and can confirm you do pay the exam fee again to re-take the exam. I have my exam set for Feb 9 2021 but I am considering moving it to March. If you book your exam and are outside the 30 day window you can re-schedule for no cost. Inside your 30 day window you pay a fee of 70$ USD to cancel.

Thank you so much, James! I would do the same. In my case instead of taking the exam this month, I will move it to Feb. Good luck to you!

In total, you have three attempts within your 1 year eligibility period. If you do not pass, you don’t need to reapply but you have to pay again every time you retake the exam up to three attempts after which you have to wait 1 year to reapply again.

Hope this helps.
