Hi Everyone, hope you can help me.

I am working in the IT industry as a project manager and plan to take a couse in programming. I know that this couse is not in the field of traditionel project management but could it in some way meet the Triangle? It might be "Strategic and Business Management - Industry knowledge and standards?

If it meets the triangle and have some activates related to project management then yes you can claim only the hours pertaining to this, not all the course.

According to the CCR Handbook:

Fractions of PDUs may also be reported. The smallest increment of a PDU that can be reported is 0.25. This means that if you spent 15 minutes participating in a qualifying PDU activity, you may report 0.25 PDU. If you spend 30 minutes in a qualifying PDU activity, you may report 0.50 PDU.

1 hour of instruction equals 1 PDU
- When only a portion of a course relates to topics relevant to the PMI Talent Triangle skill areas, calculate PDUs by the percentage of the overall curriculum focused on the applicable topic.
