On my dashboard I have 28 PDU's left out of the 60 required, can I get the rest of the 28 left from webinars?

Hi Manny,
If your dashboard shows that you have 0 PDUs remaining in Strategic, leadership and Technical, then webinars will not give you any PDUs again(I stand to be corrected ). I am in the same situation, and will be reading and finding what more to do to earn the PDUs

Yes. There is no limit on how many PDUs can be earned in the Education category. Once you have earned the minimum across the three legs of the Talent Triangle, you can watch webinars which cover any of the three legs to earn the remaining amounts.

Also remember that if you are working in a project management capacity you can claim 8 PDUs over the three year recertification cycle under the Work as a Practitioner sub-category.

To be honest. I do not know what you mean. Log in to the website and go with webinars. You will be awarded PDU accordingly.

In my case I got all the PDU´s needed by viewing on demmand webinars here in projectmanagement.com. The important thing is take into account the PDUs you need according to the PMI´s triangle.

I agree with Kiron. There's no limit of PDU's gained in Education, category. After you complete PDUs in Technical, Leadership and Strategic Bussines ( 8 pdu each), you can gain the rest of PDU's in Education Webinars.

Yes, I can attest that I have earned most of my PDUs over the last 2 cycles attending virtual conferences and watching webinars. ProjectManagement.com also sorts and filters by category (Technical, Leadership, Strategic) so you can concentrate on the area you need.

Has anyone reported PDUs based on "reading"? (according to CCRS website, qualifying materials include informational, non-fiction books, articles, white papers...).

Perhaps that could be an option to explore, Manny.

I get the bulk of my PDU's from webinars on this site. I also enjoy the all day virtual seminars that occur periodically. Check the events tab. ProjectManagement.com will automatically report any PDU's earned to your PMI dashboard.
With funding dollars for training tight these days, it is great to be able to find free training that can be used for PDU's.
I have heard of people reporting PDU's on reading of technical books. There is a formula you can use based on the time you spent reading to decided how many PDU's to report.

My question about how to estimate PDU's from reading was just answered in another thread. Posting here in case you missed it.
